Following a dominant seven-wicket victory over Zimbabwe powered by Vaibhav Suryavanshi's record 18-ball fifty and Mayank Yadav's lethal bowling spell, Team India celebrates a memorable diplomatic evening.

Ahead of the second encounter of the three-match T20 International series against Zimbabwe, the Indian cricket team attended a high-profile formal reception at 'India House' in Harare, Zimbabwe, where they were hosted by His Excellency Brahma Kumar, the Ambassador of India to Zimbabwe. In the opening match of the series, Zimbabwe took the crease first but was restricted to a modest total of 125 runs for seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs. India's bowling attack mounted unrelenting pressure, led by fast bowler Mayank Yadav, who produced an outstanding spell in his long-awaited return to international cricket by capturing two wickets for just 18 runs in four overs. Mayank received solid pace support from Ashok Sharma and Prince Yadav, with Prince Yadav claiming two wickets for 29 runs in his four-over quota. Complementing the pace assault, leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi delivered an exceptionally economical spell, conceding merely 24 runs while claiming one wicket in his four overs.

Young prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi delivered a historic performance, striking a blistering half-century in merely 18 balls to become the youngest batsman in history to register a fifty in T20 International cricket. Suryavanshi's explosive 19-ball inning of 50 runs featured four boundaries and four massive sixes. Wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan provided robust support with a solid 35-run contribution, while captain Shreyas Iyer anchored the run chase with an unbeaten 28 runs.
